It has been far too long since I posted something, but I should say I have been working, so that is good!! Here are two boxes of tea I have at the office where I am working temporarily.

Still Looking

I'm still looking for work--this is a really bad time for a designer to be job hunting, yikes!! Wish me luck!

I did take the train into the city yesterday (to dispute a parking ticket--I won, yay!), so was able to do some transit sketching. See more drawings from yesterday on my Flickr pages.

Hard Times

It's been awhile since I've stopped by my dear old blog, but I thought I should do so, update my profile photo (I have to admit I was using an old yearbook picture :), I just thought it was cute; now I have a current picture, albeit posterized and cropped to hide most of the age effects! :))

Anyway, I need to mention that I have been laid off from my job, so I am kind of struggling financially, so I'm hopeful my Etsy shop will take off more and I can make some money that way. See the link in the sidebar to the left and please take a look. Also, f you're interested, you can go to my Flickr account and see more of what I do artistically.

August Moly Entry

Watercolour pencil.
It is interesting to see the differences between the two shoes and how I used the watercolour pencils differently. On the left I first applied the pencil, then wet it. On the right shoe I used a wet brush to lift the colour directly from the pencil, more like traditional watercolour painting.
