Finally done, latest Moly entry!

After what has seemed like forever, I have finally finished my latest entry in my Moly and sent in on to Megan this morning! Yay!
The finished version is at the top, with ink added to the watercolor to go with Karen's ink added to her watercolor/colored pencil drawing of the hummingbird (travel theme: flight).

Moly-X Project and New Blog Find!

I am a bit overwhelmed by all that's going on at the moment--summer starting, three jobs going on, taking care of my mom, doing artwork, behind on correspondence, house-cleaning, gardening, paperwork, etc, etc!! One of my art projects is participating in the Moly_X_23 group. We have sent our Molys around one full circuit already and are now trying to get the second round moving. Well, I have fallen way behind what with everything else going on (my apologies, X-23ers!!), but I did finally get my new picture started this week. It is probably going to take a little while to get this done, but I'm patient! :) Hope everyone else is!

Pink Kimono

I'm having fun doing some of the prompts on the "A Fashionable Challange" Flickr group. Most of the time I am trying to do my own designs, but this week I couldn't help drawing this great Kimono I saw in a catalog.



Here is an example of one of my designs, for a prompt for an Easter frock.

It has been far too long since I posted something, but I should say I have been working, so that is good!! Here are two boxes of tea I have at the office where I am working temporarily.

Still Looking

I'm still looking for work--this is a really bad time for a designer to be job hunting, yikes!! Wish me luck!

I did take the train into the city yesterday (to dispute a parking ticket--I won, yay!), so was able to do some transit sketching. See more drawings from yesterday on my Flickr pages.
