Subway Series Continues

Life has been very busy lately, and I see it has been over a week since my last post. Even so, I still have to commute to work, so I continue to do my subway and train drawings. Above is my latest drawing, done on the train this morning. I so enjoy doing these drawings, now returning to some of the same people I have drawn in the past. This lady, in fact, I have drawn twice this week, both times knitting the same pink sweater! Check out my Flickr photostream for more pictures.

Kathleen, I love this one. I love when you just add color to the main attraction and leave the rest of your sketch as background. I love her hair. You have something so special in your work. By the way I know that you have been busy, but I left a testimonial on your flickr for you to approve. Knowing how many people love you, you probably have several. Have a peek, and have a lovely weekend. Blessings, Karen

So nice of you to visit my blog Kathleen and leave such uplifting comments. I don't know how you find the time to make art and get around to see everyone else's art & photos with the busy life you lead!! And you know I LOVE these cameo sketches with the color just on the subject - a moment in time captured by you gives each one such significance :)

And I can't believe it's Labor Day on Monday already - where did summer go?! Cheers and have a wonderful long weekend with your family!!!

Dear Karen, Laura, and Martha,
My apologies for not thanking you all sooner for your lovely comments. It has been a busy season, but the three younger children are safely in school now and I may begin to have some extra time soon! :~)
And thanks again SO much, Karen for your very sweet testimonial, I do REALLY appreciate that!
